Working With Cancer® is a not-for-profit social enterprise. The fees we charge employers and organisations are reinvested into our work, helping us subsidise support for cancer charities and provide free or reduced-cost coaching for individuals who come to us without company sponsorship. Those in financial need may be eligible for free support.
Our founder Barbara Wilson attended the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) from 2013 to 2014 on the Lloyds Bank Start Up Programme and graduated as a Fellow in November 2014. She later attended the SSE’s Scale Up and Scale & Accelerate programmes.
The majority of WWC’s funding comes from the fees charged to employers and organisations, and from donations made directly or indirectly to the company. WWC is a Company Limited by Guarantee and registered in the UK.
